The on -site drainage system will collect the runoff and convey it to the existing thirty- six -inch storm sewer at the northeast corner of the site. TIME OF CONCENTRATION (Tc) The storm system was designed based on a minimum time of concentration of 10 minutes. WEIGHTED RUN -OFF COEFFICENT (C) A weighted coefficient of 0.87 has been calculated for the proposed conditions. A value of 0.90 was used for the impervious areas, which comprises ninety -four percent (94 %) of the site. A value of 0.30 was used for the pervious areas which constitutes the remaining six percent (6 %) of the site. See sheet Cl for specific locations of various surfaces. STORM SEWER DESIGN The on -site storm sewer has been designed to convey a 10 -year design storm. The rainfall intensity was obtained from the Hydrologic/hydraulic calculations for the Hollymead Town center SWM1. This sewer system consists of a network of catch basins connected by twelve -inch pipes, which will convey the runoff to the existing thirty -six -inch storm sewer at the northeast corner of the site. SUMMARY As indicated above and shown by the attached calculations, the stormwater management, water quality, and hydraulic pipe calculations are in substantial compliance with the storm drainage requirements of Albemarle County.
