All of the Engineering comments have been addressed for Hollymead Town Center Block 3 Lot A.
The E &S bond needs to be posted.
A. Final Site Plan and Drainage Plans (SDP200600064)
All of the Final Site Plan comments have been addressed.
B. Erosion Control Plan (WP0200600047)
The E &S plan will be approved once the Final Site Plan is approved and the E &S bond is posted. The
bond is set at $21,000.

A. Road and drainage plans (SDP200600064)
1. VDOT approval is required.
2. The roads and drainage systems serving this development must be approved.
3. Off -site easements must be provided.
4. Stormsewer does not appear to be designed according to Design Manual section 505. For example,
pipe angles must be 90 degrees or greater.
5. Please provide curbing at the edge of the perimeter travelway, or include the later phases.
6. It appears D -3 will not catch much drainage.
7. See Zoning Ordinance section 4.12. Sidewalk must be 6' wide in front of parking.
8. Grades for parking areas and travelways for parking areas must not exceed 5 %.
9. Changes to surrounding roads and drainage, as well as this site, may necessitate further comments
upon revision.
C. Erosion Control Plan (WP0200600047)
1. Construction entrance must be to an existing road, Timberwood Blvd.
2. The site northeast of the current entrance location is not adequately protected. It also appears to rely
on road construction not approved and not tied to this site plans.
3. Phasing appears to be required. The silt traps (D -2, D -4) appears to be under or over proposed
grading, and must be perimeter measures to function correctly.
4. No specifications or computations were found for D -1 or D -3.
5. Inlet protection must be shown for all inlets.
6. The diversion dike to right -of -way diversion does not appear workable as shown currently. The new
construction entrance location may be more practical.
7. A complete review of computations and areas was not possible, and further comments may be
necessary upon revision.

For our files, we will need 4 copies of the Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, and 1 copy of the
Final Site plans. (If VDOT approves your plans submitted on the 29 of August, send us 4 more
copies of the plans. If they require changes, send 5 copies of the revised plans.) We can let you
know once we hear back from VDOT and whether they approve the plans or require changes.
A. Final Site Plan and Drainage Plans (SDP200600064)
1. VDOT approval is required.
Revl: The plans you submitted 6/26/06 were distributed to VDOT, and the two VDOT comments at
end of the response letter you sent us are the VDOT comments from those plans. I have sent VDOT
the revised set ofyour plans, along with a copy ofyour responses and single truck diagram for
approval.
2. Off -site easements must be provided.
Revl: We received your letter of intent for the easements needed but have lost or misplaced it. Can
you please send us another copy? Thanks, and we apologize for misplacing it.
