4.12.15g was appropriate in this instance:
none of the remainder of the parking is constructed with curbing
although the waiver will not allow for a better drainage situation, the runoff will be adversely affected
by the installation of patches of curb.

Curbing is required per section "g ". A protective barrier or curbed island should be provided on the
end of the parking row in front of the visitor parking lot according to section 'T'. In addition,
stormwater management, code chapter 17 article 2, must be addressed. A comparison of removal
rates and impervious areas before and after improvements can be used for assessment. Reduction
in impervious areas will not require storm management_

the trees shown this way? They do not appear to be a part of this amendment. If they are not a part of

3. Provide shrubs, 24" high minimum at planting, with species and spacing to form a continuous
hedge, along the parking row proposed west of the flagpole.
4. Add a plant schedule to the plan.
5. Clarify on the plan the intent for the areas of grading and planting shown at the northeast and

review for current development recommends approval of the minor amendment:

2. This project does not require an E &SC plan. The proposed disturbance is less than 10,000 SF.
C. Stormwater Management plan comments:
3. The applicant has stated on the minor amendment that the impervious area is decreasing by 0.32 %.
If so, then a SWM plan is not required for this minor amendment.
Items B and C need to be completed before a grading permit can be issued for this project.

Amendment
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will approve the minor amendment when the
following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those
that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added
or eliminated based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable
reference to the Code of Albemarle.]
1. Identify the travelway widths as 24' and the parking spaces as 18' deep where the
parking and travelways meet.
2. There is grading that was approved with SDP -2003 -103 and is still shown as
proposed. If this grading has been completed show it as existing not as proposed
as it currently is shown on this plan.
3. Update the signature panel as follows
