The Minor Site Plan Amendment plan for the Boars Head Inn Meeting Pavilion, received on 22 June 2007,
has been reviewed. The plans cannot be approved as submitted and will require the following
changes /corrections prior to final approval. As requested, the 3:00 -3:30 timeslot next Thursday has been
scheduled for you to meet with engineering staff to discuss these comments.
The Design Manual has been updated and can be viewed on the County's website. This recent edition is
referenced several times in the comments below:
A. SDP - 2007 - 00068, Boars Head Inn Minor Site Plan Amendment review comments:
1. A deed of dedication and easement is needed for all required drainage easements associated
with this minor amendment. Please refer to the County's website for the most recent forms
and procedural guidelines that need to be followed when submitting a deed of dedication and
easement. The wording shown for the drainage easements on the Deed of Dedication and
Easement needs to be exactly the same as the wording on the final plan. [DM]
2. With the required changes, please make sure that the revision date of the revised plat matches
the date of the plat shown on the deed of dedication and easement.
3. Provide blanket dimensions and classification for all outlet protection.
4. Please label type of curb on site plan.
5. In the profile, the invert out of structure 14C does not match the computations. There appears
to be a discrepancy in the computed slope from this structure as well.
6. Please provide inlet shaping (VDOT IS -1) on all inlets.
7. The new construction is proposed outside of the previously approved limits of disturbance on
the ESC plans. Please submit a new WPO application and fee to amend the ESC plans.
Engineering performed a cursory review of the ESC plans attached to the minor amendment. We have the
following comments.
8. Please show dust control symbol on Sheet C7.1.

The Minor Site Plan Amendment plan for the Boars Head Inn Meeting Pavilion, received on 27 July 2007,
has been reviewed. The plans as submitted can be approved by engineering review staff. As discussed, we
will not require any modifications to the bond amount. Please note that planning comments are still
pending. As a reminder, the drainage easement must be shown on final plat and must be accompanied by a
completed deed of easement in order to obtain staff approval.
