Please provide a schedule of completion and bond estimate request. C. Erosion Control Plan On the next submittal, please provide an E &S application and associated fee for this project. There are no other outstanding Engineering issues with the E8rS plan. An E &S bond will be computed once the plans have been approved. One of the comments states to show a right turn in /out at the entrance. It looks like this is shown on the plans on some of the sheets of the latest submittal of the plans. Upon the next submittal, please clarify this layout, and remove the previous layout which still appears to be overlaid with the newest layout. I will send a copy of these plans to VDOT. Thanks, Jon 9/17/2007 OF 1l. /iF. r County of Albemarle Department of Community Development Memorandum To: Joel DeNunzio, VDOT From: Jonathan Sharp, Current Development engineering review Date: 17 Sep 2007 Subject: White Gables Phase IV -A (SDP200700085) Joel, This plan was originally part of SDP200700006, but due to Special Permit conditions, the applicant was required to separate the private road plans and entrance modifications to Rte 250 from the rest of the application. The County is now requiring the entrance to White Gables to be converted to a right turn in /out entrance (condition #6 of the SP, letter attached). There will be additional access to Kenridge from the proposed private road connecting to Kenridge. In seeing your comment about consolidation and signalization, it appears that condition #8 of the SP refers to possible signalization of the Kenridge entrance in the future. The latest copy of the plans submitted to you, it appears that the plans show a right turn in /out at the entrance to Rte 250 from White Gables. If you have any questions about this project, let me know. Please remove all information from the plan that is not directly related to Phase IV -A. Anything related to Phase IV- B should not be shown on this plan. If the information remains, all information will be reviewed as a whole and will be required to be accurate before approval. For example, the submitted plans have specifics regarding underground parking within the Pavilions that is not correct. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. I believe that in our phone conversation two weeks ago, you said that planning would be completed with their review on or before September 25th. I have yet to see anything from Planning. I have engineering approval and VDOT approval. As I also explained to you during that phone conversation, this issue is extremely sensitive, especially since planning delayed this project once already with a 3 %2 month review. Please let me know as soon as possible if this plan is acceptable, so we can get signed plans and move on. Thanks.
