In regards to item #1, an adequate dumpster pad is required. The pad should be sized to tit the entire compactor (minimum of 10 feet x10 feet), with an additional 8 feet of dumpster pad in front of the dumpster (the front being the side in which the compactor gets loaded onto the truck). The dumpster pad must also meet these specifications: a minimum 4" stone base and 6" concrete of 3000psi at 28 days, or stronger, reinforced with a minimum grid of wire reinforcing or #4 bars at 12" on center. [I 8-4.12.19a,b, DM] 2. In regards to the four new parking spaces in the old location of the dumpster pads: The parking spaces are only shown 14 feet deep. The spaces nust be a minimum of 18 feet deep (or 16 feet deep with 2 feet of grassed overhang). [18- 4.12.16a,c] 3. In regards to item #12, the grades for the loading areas behind Harris Teeter must not exceed 5% in slope. [18- 4.12.15c] BLUE RIDGE SHOPPING CENTER Crozet, Virginia List of Changes Made Between the Approved Submittal (Food Lion) and Minor Site Plan Amendment w Moved dumpsters from southeast corner to a compactor against the building. 2. Enlarged transformer (sized by Dominion Virginia Power). a. Changed retaining wall to "Redi Rock" - this retaining wall will extend a minimum of 42" above finished grade in place of adding railing on wall as originally designed. 4 -.- Added grease trap. 5: Made small changes to curbs so they could accommodate the Harris Teeter delivery trucks. Piped the small amount of water coming off the canopy to a drainage structure. T Indicated an alternate loading space in case "Outparcel D" tenant requires change. 8. Changed outline of building somewhat to accommodate Harris Teeter - store is larger. 9- Made entrance into Harris Teeter vestibule from west as opposed to only the two ends (north and south). Added bike racks. 9 -- 9 -Added new area way at emergency door on northeast corner. [18- 4.12.15c] Revl: Grading near the loading area and adjacent travel »Yay are shown in excess of 12% in grade. The loading area cannot exceed S% in grade and travelways cannot exceed 10% in grade.
