to the existing Albemarle High Scholl building located at 2775 Hydraulic Road. The building additlarro
will be located in four locations and be accompanied by minor grading and parking changes. There WIN
be: a 6240 s.f. i ClaeeroonrLab addition in the northeast comer with a row erNence; a 5050 IIJ. f
Administration Office addition along the eastern edge; a 2355 s.f. t building addition along the weetem
edge; and a 3375 s.f. t addition along the nonMrn edge to serve as a naw, entrance to the gy"W"um.
In oder to recoups the parking spaces lost to Be building additions, minor changes Will be made to be
existing eastern and souMseetsm parking laps. Some islands will be shortened to add parking spaces.
Landscaping WIN be added to the areas around the building additions. and in the parking lots.
Existing Site Description: The property that Albererie High Schod sits on it approximately 216 sores,
and contains two middle schools and the high sctool. The Albemarle High Sdaol portion of the site
consist of the main high school buNding, and mut" smaller oulbuil". To the east of the main
building are two existing parking buildings. To the southwest W the main building is an exlsdng
ssomlwaler management pond. To de west of fine main bullding aro the aB istic fiekb and supporting
buildings.
Adjacent Areas Description: The site is bolakied by Hydraulic Road (Stab Route 743) to the east, The
Georgetown Green Houle residential development to the south, existing Woodside to Ithe west, Lambs
Lane (Stab Route 9885) to the north, and Lambe Road (Stab Route 657) o the northeast.
Off-site Area Description: No off-site areas will be disturbed with this project.
