In this case, the ‘logo’ contains both text (“Molly Maid”) and graphics (the hat/cap). The comprehensive sign plan for this shopping center limits the text color to white, so the “Molly Maid” text portion of the logo will need to be revised to white. The ARB would also prefer that the graphic portion be white, but the comprehensive sign plan doesn’t specify that limitation. So, if you’re agreeable to changing the entire logo to white, that would be great; otherwise, please revise the text portion to white. All of the other comments have been addressed. Division: Date Completed:04/01/2016 Reviewer:Ellie Ray ARB Review Status:Approved Reviews Comments: Division: Page: 1 of 1 County of Albemarle Printed On: April 05, 2016 Ellie Ray From: Ellie Ray Sent: Monday, March 28, 2016 3:46 PM To: rrhodes@htsva.com' Subject: ARB201600036 Molly Maid - Sign Robert, I have reviewed the above -noted ARB sign application, located at 3500 Seminole Trail, and have the following comments: Text Color: The sign drawings indicate the text is proposed to be both white and pink . Approved sign criteria for the shopping center require that the lettering be white. Revise the sign drawings to indicate that all text is white. Background Color: The sign drawings are difficult to read but it appears the background color is proposed to be pantone 249C. On the drawings the sign appears blue, but pantone 249C is a deep pink; please clarify the color proposed and make sure the correct pantone number is provided on all sign drawings. Lighting Note: It appears that the existing lighting is proposed to remain for both wall signs; if this is true, please add the note "Existing external illumination to remain". If the existing lighting is changing, please include information on any new/revised lighting proposed.
