HomeMy WebLinkAboutARB201600036 Correspondence 2016-03-30 Ellie Ray From: Ellie Ray Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2016 9:32 AM To: 'Robert Rhodes' Subject: RE:ARB201600036 Molly Maid - Sign Robert, I'm sorry I missed your call yesterday, hopefully this email will answer your question. The ARB guidelines consider 'text' and 'graphics' as separate elements; they don't necessarily consider'logos'. In this case, the 'logo' contains both text ("Molly Maid") and graphics (the hat/cap). The comprehensive sign plan for this shopping center limits the text color to white, so the "Molly Maid"text portion of the logo will need to be revised to white. The ARB would also prefer that the graphic portion be white, but the comprehensive sign plan doesn't specify that limitation. So, if you're agreeable to changing the entire logo to white, that would be great; otherwise, please revise the text portion to white. All of the other comments have been addressed. Let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm working out of the office today, but you can reach me at 760- 3752 if you need anything. I have addressed the following below and attached is the revised document for your approval: 1. Text color: All text on the signs has been changed to white. The logo has been left in pink as I was not certain if their logo counted as text. Please let me know if this must also be in white and I will modify it. 2. Background color: I corrected the error in the mistyped pantone color 3. The lighting note has been added Looking forward to approval so the project may move forward... Best, Robert 1
