This site plan as submitted contains all of the information required by Section 32.5 (Preliminary Plan) or Section 32.6 (Final
Plan) of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. I understand that plans which lack information required by said sections
shall be deemed incomplete and shall be denied by the agent within ten (10) days of submittal as provided in Section 32.4.2.1
or Section 32.4.3.3 as the case may be.

General Notes
1: Minor amendment to Meriwether Lewis Elementary School site plan to install one (1) temporary
mobile classroom. The mobile classroom is required to provide instructional space for programming
changes for the 2008-09 school year.

9: Impervious Cover: The minor increase in storm water run-off will not significantly change existing
drainage. It will sheet overland to existing storm system. Impervious cover will be 1056sq. ft (24'x44').
10: The appropriate setbacks for RA zoning are: front (75'), side (25') and rear (35'). The mobile
classroom will be subject to these setbacks.
11: Parking: No additional spaces required. Meriwether Lewis requires 37 spaces based on an
enrollment of 440 students and the parking requirement of one (1) space per 12 students. There are 58
parking spaces on the site.
12: This site is located within the watershed of the South Rivanna River Reservoir.
13: There is to be no additional lighting added. The mobile classroom has one sixty watt lamp by each
door for means of egress.
14: Each outdoor luminaire equipped with a lamp which emits 3,000 or more maximum lumens shall
be a full cutoff luminaire and shall be arranged or shielded to reflect light away from adjoining residential
districts and away from adjacent roads.
15: The spillover of lighting from outdoor luminaires onto public roads and property in residential or
rural areas zoning district shall not exceed one-half (1/2) foot candle.
16: A fire hydrant is within 75 ft. of the mobile classroom.
17: The new mobile classroom will not be disturbing slopes of 25% or greater.
