Lewis,
I have reviewed the above -noted ARB sign application, located at 2335 Seminole Trail, and have the following
comments:
ID Sign:
1. Sign Material: Provide a note on the drawing indicating the proposed cabinet material(s).
2. Landscaping: Provide a note on the drawing indicating landscaping as shown on the approved Site Plan
(SDP201500034) will remain.
3. Lighting: Clarify which part of the "LED lit push thru letters and logo" will illuminate; it is the entire letter/logo,
an outline, the sides, etc.? If an outline illuminates, indicate the width of the outline.
4. Lighting: Provide a detail on the drawing indicating that the LED wash light fixtures will not be visible.
5. Lighting Note: Add the following note to the drawing, "The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will
not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon."
Al sign:
1. The proposed painted aluminum letters are not consistent with the approved comprehensive sign plan for this
shopping center. However, the ARB has indicated their willingness to approve the address number design based
on the appropriateness of the proposed color and the fact that the numbers are not illuminated.
D1 & E1 Signs:
1. The ARB does not typically review directional signs; ARB staff has no comments.
Please respond within 15 days of the date of this email indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions.
Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60 -day review period associated with your original submittal. If you
choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me. If you choose not to proceed with these
revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. Failure to respond to this email shall be presumed to be a
request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions.
If you have any questions about this action, please contact me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your revisions
and completing this review with an approval letter.
