THE OWNER IS PROPOSING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DENTAL OFFICE AND ASSOCIATED PARKING LOT. THE CLINIC WILL CONTAIN
APPROXIMATELY 7 EMPLOYEES AND 3-4 PATIENTS AT A TIME. THE BUILDING WILL BE ONE STORY WITH A PARTIAL BASEMENT FOR
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. THE ENTRANCE TO THE SITE REMAINS CONSISTENT WITH THE ORIGINAL DESIGN COORDINATED WITH VDOT.
THE EXISTING TREES TOWARD THE NORTH WEST SIDE OF THE SITE WILL BE RETAINED AND THE EXISTING SCRUB VEGETATION TO THE
WEST WILL BE REMOVED FOR THE BUILDING PLACEMENT. DUE TO THE SMALL SIZE OF THE SITE, THE LANDSCAPE PALATE WAS KEPT
SIMPLE. HEDGES ARE USED TO SHIELD VEHICLES IN THE PARKING LOT FROM STREET VIEWS. STORMWATER RUNOFF WILL BE TREATED
FOR QUALITY THROUGH A PRE-ENGINEERED FILTERAM UNIT. STORMWATER QUANTITY REQUIREMENTS WILL BE MET USING AN
UNDERGROUND DETENTION FACILITY. THE SITE CONFORMS TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTIES THROUGH THE USE OF BRICK IN THE
STRUCTURES AND BY PRESERVING THE LARGE TREES, THE PROPERTY WILL HAVE SENSE OF MATURITY WHEN THE BUILDING IS
