Current Development Engineering's Preliminary Site Plan SRC comments have been addressed. However, action can not be taken on this plan until the waiver requests for parking lot surfacing and curb gutter have been resolved. Engineering has the following comments on the waiver requests: Surface waiver comments 1. Please revise the waiver request to reflect the revised number of proposed parking spaces (has increased from 13 to 20 on latest plan). 2. Please calculate and submit the design ADT for the entrance and parking lot, and the required pavement section based on that ADT, using VDOT pavement design guidelines. [18- 4.12.15.a] Curb waiver comments 3. The grading of the proposed grass -lined swale does not appear to allow for a 1 -foot depth as the cross section shows. Please provide spot elevations along the centerline and edges of the channel to demonstrate the actual depth provided. Also, the swale's drainage area and flow calculation have not been revised to reflect the increase in the size of the parking lot. If the swale can not properly convey the flow from the parking lot to the bio- filter, curb and gutter will better serve this purpose. 4. Should the waiver of curb and gutter be approved, bumper blocks will be required on all parking spaces. [18- 4.12.16.e] Stormwater Management Comments (for information purposes only) 5. Although not reviewed at this time, the sizing calculation for the bio -filter has not been revised to reflect the increase in the size of the parking lot.
