1. Are any items being modified on sheets C -1 and C -2? If yes, then please bubble the proposed
changes. If not, then please remove these sheets from this minor amendment.
2. Engineering review is concerned about the awkward interparcel connection at the northeast corner
of the property. Please provide a stop sign at the island on the Blue Ridge Building Supply parcel
and stripe the centerline of the travelway from the Northeast corner of Building A to the stop sign.
Please also provide a stop sign for the northbound traffic from the rear of the building.
3. Please add spot elevations for the wall on the west end of the site. If the height of the wall is 4ft or
taller, a safety railing is required.

Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when
the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.)
1. 32.6] Double check the landscape quantities for the following proposed plants on sheet
SP2. I have counted less than what is listed in the landscape schedule for Cercis
canadensis (plant list states 27, I counted 25), Ilex cornuta `Buford nana" (plant list states
47, I counted 44), Ilex crenata (plant list states 40, I counted 38).
2. 32.6] Taxus baccata `Repandens' should be bubbled as there are new plants shown
around the BB &T building.
3. There are light fixtures shown on sheet SP2 that are bubbled and labeled as being moved
to the opposite side of the guardrail, however this change is not listed in the revision list,
nor does it have a number associated with it. Revise to include a number and list the
change in the schedule.

1. 32.6.6 (j)] The proposed light fixture cut sheet is not readable. Revise so that it is clear
on which fixtures are being used, and moved onto the wall of the Harris Teeter. It appears
that the fixture cut sheet on Sheet L2, is not the fixture that is being proposed to be
located on the building. Please verify that the correct cut sheet and fixture are being
shown.
2. 32.6] On the cover sheet it states `Major Site Plan Amendment (SDP02- 049)'. Revise to
be the current amendment `Minor Site Plan Amendment (SDP2008- 159)'.
3. 32.6] The new landscaping around the sign is not called out with a number, nor is a
description provided in the revision legend. Provide a description and number for the
addition of the shrubs around the sign. Make sure the new shrubs are accounted for in the
plant schedule.

the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.)
1. 32.5.6] Revise plan to highlight all proposed changes by bubbling the areas that are
changing and provide the intended use or justifications on the plan sheet, and then label
the highlighted areas with the corresponding numbers for the justifications (i.e. bubble
around the dumpster area and label as ' #6 ")
2. 32.5.6] Sheets need to stand on their own. Revise sheet numbers to be one of x ", two of
x ", etc.
3. 32.5.6] The details for the guardrails were not provided with this submittal. Please
provide the new details on the plan sheet.
4. 32.6.6 (j)] Proposed light fixture cut sheets need to be on plan sheets, not a separate
sheet. Show cut sheets on plan.
5. 32.6.6 (j)] Albemarle County requires the LLF to be 1.0. Revise photometric plan and
lighting schedule to reflect this requirement.
