The Albemarle County Division of Zoning and Community Development: Zoning and Planning
Review has reviewed the submitted minor site plan amendment referenced above. The Minor Site
Plan Amendment will not be approved /signed until the following conditions have been satisfied:
1. [ 18.32.7 2.8] This section requires sidewalks are a minimum of 5' in width.
Also, please add detail reference to sheet C -1.2 for the detail that appears on sheet C -1.6.

Based on what you describe, I think the 4' cut - through is ok. Please resubmit plans for my review.

I'm working on this site plan and downloaded your comments from CountyView, and I wanted to clarify a couple of
items before re- submitting the plan.
Regarding the comment about sidewalks being 5 ft:
For the sidewalk to Livingston Drive, the as -built information I received did not accurately show this sidewalk. I
field measured it this morning and it is 5 ft in width. I will correct this on the plan.
At the southwest plaza facing Lockwood Drive, there is a section of 4 ft sidewalk less than 8 ft in length in the
center of the plaza area. There is another sidewalk wider than 5 ft that also accesses this same area. The center
walk is not essential and functions as little more than a cut - through path through the landscaped area. In short,
I'm requesting leniency in the application of 18.32.7.2.8 in this situation.
Also, Sheet C -1.2 does include a reference note to Sheet C -1.6, which references the details on this sheet.
Please let me know if these items are adequately addressed so I can re- submit the plan. My number is 971 -8848
