The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Subdivision Plat referenced
above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference,
which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14-316] Approval of entrance onto public streets. Submit evidence that the entrance of the principal means of
access for each lot onto the existing public street complies with Virginia Department of Transportation standards.
2. [14-302(A)(10)] Right of further division. Provide the following note: "Lot I is assigned I development right and
may not be further divided. The residue of Tax Map/Parcel 123-10 is retaining 4 development rights and may be
further divided and when divided the combined acreage of the lots created with development rights shall not
consist of more than 21.76 acres ".
3. [14-303(P)] Notary Panels. The owner's signature provided on the plat has not been notarized. Prior to County
Approval the owner's signature shall be notarized.
4. [14-309 & 14-3101 Soil evaluations; Health Director Approval of wells and septic systems. Approval by the
Health Department is required before the plat can be approved. Provide the soil work for the subdivision and staff
will forward it onto the Health Department for their review/approval.
Staff has provided references to the County Code. The Code is kept up-to-date by the County Attorney's office and
may be found at www.albemarle.org/countycode. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B) of Chapter 14,
if the applicant fails to submit a revised plat to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of this
letter, then the application shall be deemed voluntarily withdrawn. Please contact Christopher Perez at the Division of
