The County of Albemarle Planning Division will recommend approval of the plan referenced above once the
following comments have been satisfactorily addressed (The following comments are those that have been
identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review.):
[Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless
otherwise specified.]
[32.5.2(a)] The plan should provide all of the information listed under section 32.5.2(a) such as name of the
owner, name of the developer, tax map and parcel number, zoning district, source of topography, minimum
setback requirements, sheet number and total number of sheets, etc. This information was provided on the
Cover Sheet of the Final Site Plan. Please include a Cover Sheet with this information; the one from the
final site plan may be used with a note stating this plan is a Minor Amendment to SDP201500047 (sheets
not included in this plan set should be crossed out as was done on the Final Site Plan).
2. [32.5.2(b)] The plan should provide all of the information listed under section 32.5.2(b) such as the
proposed use(s), maximum square footage, maximum height of proposed building, schedule of parking,
maximum amount of impervious cover, etc. This information was provided on the Cover Sheet of the Final
Site Plan. Please include a Cover Sheet with this information.
3. [Comment] The Cover Sheet should also include a list of all changes proposed with this amendment.
4. [32.5.2(p)] The application narrative indicates that the landscaping has changed slightly due to the building
shift, but no revised landscape plan was included in the submittal. Additionally, it appears that the addition
of the island in the parking lot also resulted in shifting of the parking lot near the northern boundary. This
change appears to have narrowed the area between the parking lot and the concrete flume. Please include
the revised landscape plan in the minor amendment plan set to show the proposed changes near the
loading space as well as to verify that adequate space is still present for plantings on the northern end of the
parking lot.
5. [Comment] This site plan amendment cannot be approved until ARB and ACSA complete their reviews
and grant their approval. Inspections has completed their review and has no objection. Engineering and
Fire rescue comments have been provided.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The
Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's
website which may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org.
In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the developer fails to
submit a revised final site plan to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of
this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer.
