Based on plans dated 10/26/15.
1. Install an all weather fire access road along the east side of all three hangers. The access road
shall run from the existing parking lot to the emergency access road coming up from Dickerson Road.
2. Install two hydrants, #1- to be located on the east end of the existing parking lot and near the fire
access road. #2 - to be located on the side of the tarmac between the emergency access road and
the proposed hanger.
3. Fire flow test required before final approval.
4. Add a note to the plans " Knox Box Required please contact the Albemarle County Fire Marshal
Office for the location. "

Relocate the proposed hangar so that it is at least 50' from the existing hangar.
The hangar must be protected by a combination automatic sprinkler and low-level low-expansion
foam system. Indicate this requirement on the plan.

WPO courtesy comments
1. C4 provides bioretention landscape specifications and plan view of proposed bioretention
facility. Please submit WPO Application. Index indicates ESC Plan, Notes, and Details exist, but
Engineering is uncertain whether a WPO Application has been submitted (email sent to Applicant,
12/7/2015 12:39 PM).
2. With WPO Application, please include: SWPPP; ESC Plan; SWM Plan. It may help to
reference recent WPO for Town & Country Shopping Center for level of plan detail.
3. With SWM Plan, include:
a. Profile of bioretention facility –Note: floor elevation of bioretention facility must be at least 1’
lower than sediment trap floor elevation.
b. Design, construction, and maintenance details from BMP Clearinghouse website, VA DEQ
Stormwater Design Specification No. 9.
c. Bioretention facility type: Level 1 or Level 2.
d. Virginia Runoff Reduction Spreadsheet for New Development (VaRRM .xls) –Ref.
9VAC25-870-65, Water Quality compliance.
e. Design that shows compliance with 9VAC25-870-66, Water Quantity.
4. Provide SWM Facility Access. C2 indicates Ex. Emergency Access may serve dual function
if SWM Access Easement is provided.
