Brion,
I have reviewed the above -noted ARB sign application, located at 1829 Seminole Trail, and have the following
comments:
1. Background Color: The sign drawings indicate the sign is proposed to be white with blue text and graphics.
Approved sign criteria for the shopping center (attached) require that the background be blue (the shade of blue
shall coordinate with the shades of blue used for the backgrounds of existing signs in the shopping center).
Revise the sign drawings to indicate that the background will be blue (perhaps a blue background and white
text/graphics like many of the existing signs?).
2. Proposed Color: The blue color is proposed to be Pantone SC 433 C on the sign drawing. I can't find this color in
our Pantone color guide. Please verify that this is the correct number and either revise, or provide a color
sample.
3. Illumination: No illumination is noted on the sign drawing. If any illumination is either existing or proposed,
provide information about the lighting.
4. General: Zoning has denied the current sign design due to size restrictions; be aware that ARB review of the
revised sign layout could result in additional comments.
Please respond within 15 days of the date of this email indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions.
Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60 -day review period associated with your original submittal. If you
choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me. If you choose not to proceed with these
revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. Failure to respond to this email shall be presumed to be a
request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions.
If you have any questions about this action, please contact me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your revisions
and completing this review with an approval letter.

Brion;
Based on the 122"of building frontage that you have shown they are allowed up to 15.2 sq.ft.of wall signage. Have you
confirmed that the building frontage you have shown is the actual office space they are occupying?

Brion,
I have reviewed the revised sign drawings submitted 5/12/16 and all of my previous comments, with the exception of
#4, have been addressed. My understanding is that the sign is still not an approvable size. As before, be aware that ARB
review of the revised sign layout could result in additional comments. Please copy me on any revision submittals so that
I can make sure it still meets ARB guidelines and the approved sign criteria for the shopping center.
Please respond within 15 days of the date of this email indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions.
