'['his is to advise YOl.:, that the Albemarle CO\mty Board of Supervisors at its
meeting January l7, 1978, approved the application for an inn which may include
is accessory uses swimming pools and tennis courts, both of which may be open
to the public without regard to whether users are patrons of the dining facilities
:>r guest rooms in thE! inn itself in accordance with Section 2-1-25(21) of the
~oning Ordinance Tt.e application for a riding stable and riding school in
iccordance with Section 2-1-25(25) of the Zoning Ordinance was denied The
former was approved with the following conditions
1 Approval is for E,xisting facilites only; any new facilities or additions to
present facilitiE,s will be subject to amendment of the special use permit:
2 Hours of operation are limited to sunrise until II 00 p m. for golf pro shop,
swimming pools ~ld tennis courts and all other outdoor recreational activity
All indoor activities, dining, special parties, etc , to end at 1 00 am:
3 All buildings to be subject to Building Code and Fire Code Inspections:
4 No outdoor public address system including amplified phonographs, radios, and
the like and including musical groups employing amplified instruments shall
exceed 40 deciJ:els at the nearest property line; this condition is subject
to restrictions of condition #2 for outdoor uses;
5 No off premises licensed sale of alcoholic beverages to be perIni tted;
6 This pernrit will become valid for an area of approximately l8 acres: the boundaries
of which to be shown on a map or plat of sufficient detail to meet the approval
of the Zoning P.dministrator and County Attorney and shall essentially conform to
the map presented to this Board Appropriate permanent boundary markers be
placed on the f roperty to correspond to the boundaries as shown on the drawings
This map or plc:.t will be prepared by the applicant and submitted for approval
