MEMORANDUM
To: Mr. John Anderson, PE, Civil Engineer II
County of Albemarle,Virginia
From: Mr. Eric Woolley, PE
Woolley Engineering
Regarding: WPO 201400106—Foxhaven Farm: Sanitary Sewer Plan
Responses to comments from County Staff
With this memo, I am responding to the comments that were directed to our office following the
review of our WPO application plan for the development a sanitary sewer pipeline for the properties
located at 275-315 Foxhaven Farm. The comments were received in written format and were dated
13 Jan 2015 from the Department of Community Development. Per your request, I have attached
this memorandum to two (2)revised sets of our WPO plans.
A. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
1. Per the follow-up emails from your office dated 15 January 2015 and 30 January 2015, the
SWPPP shall be required with this plan submission. We have generated a project specific
SWPPP document and provided a copy for your review.
B. Pollution Prevention Plan (PPP)
1. Same as A. (SWPPP) above.
C. Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP)
1. Per the confirmation comments of the initial plan review, the SWMP shall not be required
with this plan submission.
D. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP)
1. The details requested in this comment have been added to the "General Details" sheet of the
plan set numbered C-4.0. Both details have been added to the plan with notes concerning
the County inspector's inspection and determination.
2. Additional plan notations have been added to sheet ES-2.0 indicating the limits of the
proposed safety fence for the site.
3. The 100'stream buffer has been added to sheets C-3.0 and ES-2.0 of the plan set.
4. An inset plan view map has been added to sheet ES-2.0 to satisfy this comment request.
5. The plan notations have been increased in size to satisfy this request.
6. Per your request, we have created duplicate sheets of C-3.0 and C-3.1 that include the
contour elevations and labels and provided those separately via email on 15 January 2015.

E. Mitigation Plan
1. The total site disturbance within the buffer is approximately 1,563 sf. The relatively small
area assumes that the Contractor shall have twenty feet of width along the proposed pipeline
in which to operate. The disturbance shall be temporary during installation of the sewer
pipe and will be remediated by the revegetation of the existing grassy area that currently
exists at the plan location. Additional notations and a mitigation summary have been
provided on sheet ES-2.0 of the plan set to address this comment.
I hope that these responses, in combination with the revised plan have satisfied the deficiencies as
noted in your previous comment memorandum. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions or
concerns. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Eric Woolley, PE
