Additional Reduction or release depends on:
1. Updated As -built —to reflect As -built pavement design for Boulderview Road /Drive, and additional items.
In 2015, portion of 8" depth (21A) base stone was removed and replaced with additional BM -25 to provide
depth of pavement section (Dp) equivalent to design pavement section (Dr). Please revise As -built to show:
a. Boulderview Road/ Boulderview Drive Actual (As -built) depth:
i. Base (21A stone)
ii. BM -25 (base asphalt)
iii. Sm -9.5A (surface =none)
b. curb /gutter —show unbuilt sections of CG in vicinity of gas station, as of this date
c. Elm Tree Court (N) improvements (base, storm inlets); no walks, asphalt, or CG, as of 16 Jun 2016

d. Street landscaping —qty./type (species) of shrubs /trees verified alive; compare with ROAD Plan
and SDP2013-00035 Minor Amendment #3 plant schedules ( .qty /type)
In connection with #l.a., please provide:
a. PE -seal letter (Scott Collins or Peter Fanara) stating removal of stone /replacement with additional
BM -25 consistent with 2015 Peter Fanara letter to ULC. Specify approx. date work complete.
Depth stone removal /replacement was not inspected by county. PE -certification is required for
eventual release of Boulderview Dr./Road private road portion of ROAD Plan bond. This item
was briefly discussed with Ms. Harrell during telephone call (wk. of 6/13/16).
b. Copy (email .PDF) of Geo -Terrain letter (2015) specifying Additional BM -25 depth, for ROAD Plan
file. Letter read to reviewer by Ms. Harrell on 6/14/16. (Related email: Hunter Wood to J. Anderson,
7/6/2015 1:34 PM.) Please contact reviewer at 434.872-40510069, if any questions. (new teL #)
VDOT Acceptance: 1 -Jun 2016, a 0.05 Mi. section of Briarwood Drive (7 -lane) extending north from
Seminole Trail Drive (U.S. Rt. 29) to end of 7 -lane section, and an additional 0.20 Mi. section from end of
7 -lane section, extending north, were recommended by County board of supervisors for acceptance into
VDOT secondary road system. Acceptance process is not yet complete. Portion of public road bond for
Briarwood Drive is eligible for release once VDOT acceptance process is complete. Please note that
public road portion of bond has been reduced 90% from the original bond amount.
