I never received an answer back but eventually just dropped the issue as other plans have went through the review process and VDOT never required the offsite easement be it was within the prescriptive right-of- way. Thus I have since applied that same logic to this review as well. thanks Christopher P. Who at VDOT is reviewing the above ref BLA plat? There appears to be a need for an off-site sight distance easement on TMP 76-52E and 76-52D. I am inquired with VDOT for final determination whether the easement is required to be platted or if it being located in the prescriptive right-of-way negates the need for an easement. Let me know.
