The Albemarle County Board of SupervIsors, at ItS meetIng on December 11, 1996 approved the above-noted request to allow 110 foot tower and eqUIment building on portIOn of a 9 536 acre parcel zoned. Pleast: note that thIS approval IS subject to the followmg conditIons 1 Tower heIgh" snail not exceed 100 feet (80-foot monopole with 20-foot antennae/lIghtmg rod), 2 ComplIance wIth SectIon 5 1 12 of the Zoning Ordmance; 3 There shall be no lIghtmg of the tower unless reqUIred by a federal agency All tower lIghtmg shall be shIelded so as to mmlmlze visibIlIty from the ground, 4 Staff approval of addItIonal antennae mstallatIOn. No admmlstratIve approval shall constItute or Imply support for or approval of, the locatIOn of addItional towers, antennae, etc , even If they may be part of the same network or system as any antennae admmlstratI\'ely approved under thIS sectIOn, 5 The tower must be desIgned and adequate separatIOn proVIded to property lInes such that in the event of structural faIlure, the tower and components wIll remain wlthm the lease area. A modification of SectIOn 4 10.3 1 has been granted to allow location of the tower closer to the property lIne than the heIght of the tower; Page 2 December 26, 1996 6 The tower shall be dIsassembled and removed from the sIte wlthm 90 days of the discontmuance of the use of the tower for cellular communIcation purposes. The Board also granted the modification of SectIOn 4 10 3 1 to allow the locatIOn of the tower closer to the property Ime than the heIght ofthe tower In the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit IS Issued shall not be commenced wlthm eIghteen (18) months after the Issuance of such permIt, the same shall be deemed abandonedmd the authority granted thereunder shall thereupon termmate. For purposes of this sectIOn, the terrn "commenced" shall be construed to mclude the commencement of construction of any structure necessary to the use of such permit within two (2) years from the date of the issuance thereof which is thereafter completed within one (1) year Before beginning thIS use, you must obtain a ZOnIng clearance from the Zoning Department.
