We work in a range of materials: plastics, wood, metal, glass, laminates, stone, composites and digital prints. We have addressed the performance standards of Zoning Ordinance Section 18-4.14: • Noise: o The following equipment will produce noise within the facility: Welding, grinding, hammering, cutting, pneumatic tools. All of these activities occur within the envelope of the building with doors closed. o One compressor, a Kaeser Rotary screw air compressor will be used for the pneumatic tools and spray painting. The compressor is located within the building envelope which eliminates any exterior noise pollution from this source, with its rating at 55 decibels. o The various raw materials shall be delivered to the facility, and dropped off at one of the various loading doors of the building. The majority of the deliveries to the facility are made between 8:00am-5:00pm. o A forklift will be present on site to move, and organize the raw materials for storage. However the forklift will be primarily operated within the building. • Vibration: o The only activities involved in this operation that can potentially cause vibration are: Delivery of raw materials. Majority of the deliveries are made between the hours of 8:OOam — S:OOpm. The operation of a forklift to move the raw materials to storage. However the forklift will primarily be used within the building. • Glare/Heat: o The only process causing glare for this facility is due to welding. However all welding operations take place internal to the building and will not impact adjacent properties. • Air Pollution: o A standard, down draft automotive spray booth is used in all painting operations. The booth exhausts to the roof of the building. The paint particulate is filtered from the air before it exits the building. o Separate work areas are used based on raw material to control the migration of dust. All dust is deposed of as it accumulates. o Solvent based ink is used in the printing operations. However this is Eco-Solvent ink which has a low TOC concentration and is safe to use indoors. • Water Pollution: o No liquid waste is produced as a part of this operation; therefore it does not represent a hazard to water quality. • Radioactivity: o No radioactive materials are used as a part of this operation. • Electrical Interference: o No equipment is used as a part of this operation that would generate electrical disturbances.
