APPLICATION REVIEW HISTORY ARB #/Name_201600061 Grand Home Furnishings_________ ACTION DATE NOTES County received application 5/5/2016 Corresponding submittal deadline/ARB meeting date 5/9/2016 Transfer from intake to ARB Staff Design Planner Received 5/9/2016 5/10/2016 Site Visit 5/11/2016 Visited and took pictures of the site Completeness Check 5/12/2016-5/15/16 Application Fee was not submitted. There were major issues with the free standing monument sign. There was missing information for the Wall Sign Action Letter to Applicant 5/16/16 Incomplete letter sent to applicant with resubmittal form. Resubmittal received by staff 6/6/2016 First FULL ARB staff review 6/17/16-6/20/16 The content provided was not in a “sign plan”. Instead it was piecemeal in multiple pages/formats over the two separate submissions. Also, some of the information was not provided and a note on the illumination needed to be added. Comments to applicant 6/20/16 Called the applicant’s contact to discussed and then followed up with an email of the comments and an example “sign plan”. Received call from Contact 6/20/16 Contact called to discuss the comments. In the discussion I asked him to consider vertically centering “Grand” without considering the tail of the “R”. He said it would probably work and he would look into doing so. This change will allow the two signs to be placed at the height on the building. Resubmittal received by staff 6/23/16 Received email with attached drawing from contact with a request to let him know if it was correct. Resubmittal reviewed by staff 6/23/16-6/24/16 Were all comments addressed? 6/24/16 No, about ½ of the requested changes were not addressed.
