RE -INSPECTION FEE: $250.00
By September 8, 2016 Albemarle County must receive the re -inspection fee of $250.00 to
continue your project. This fee is required per sections 17-207 and 17-208 of the County Code.
To pay the re -inspection fee, please send a check payable to the County of Albemarle to my
attention along with the enclosed copy of this invoice. If the re -inspection fee is not paid within
30 days, interest charges will be applied to the past due amount per the Albemarle County
Water Protection Ordinance. (Sec. 17-210)

NOTICE TO COMPLY
Dear Mr. Houser:
This is your notice to comply in accordance with section 17-900 of the Water Protection
Ordinance. To comply, all final stabilization, removal of erosion control measures, and
stormwater management facilities must be completed prior to March 11, 2016.
• Deficiency: Sediment in roadway
Required Correction: Remove sediment from roadway, reinstall construction
entrance in accordance with 3.02 of the VESCH, Third edition dated 1992
• Deficiency: Inlet protections missing/damaged
Required Correction: Reinstall/maintenance drop inlets and curb inlet
protections in accordance with 3.08 of the VESCH, Third edition dated 1992
• Deficiency: Eroded large gulleys leading down both sides of SB1-A, reinstall
vehicle access to basin
Required Correction: Repair the galleys leading to basin regrade access and
stabilize with straw, seed and EC-3 matting on all slopes in accordance with
3.36 of the VESCH, Third edition dated 1992
• Deficiency: Site does not have the required RLD or Site Operator on record
Required Correction: Identify and submit documentation for the Site Operator
& RLD in accordance with the VSMP & VESCP permits

• Deficiency: SWPPP book and SWPPP posted document missing
Reguired Correction: Replace SWPPP book and insure inspections are being
performed on site and review and update all required posted SWPPP at
entranceway to site in accordance with the VSMP permit
• Deficiency: Accumulated sediment has exceeded half of the wet storage
capacity of SB 1-A
Required Correction: Remove sediment from SB1-A and confirm that original
storage capacity has been achieved in accordance with 3.14 of the VESCH,
Third edition dated 1992
• Deficiency: Sediment in roadway
Required Correction: Remove sediment from roadway, reinstall construction
entrance in accordance with 3.02 of the VESCH, Third edition dated 1992
• Deficiency: Site is in a state of dormancy with observed construction debris
Required Correction: Remove all construction related debris and permanently
stabilize all denuded areas in accordance with 3.32 of the VESCH, Third edition
dated 1992
A re -inspection fee of $250.00 will be sent to the owner for each re -inspection of this notice.
Failure to comply by the required date may subject the owner to penalties and remedies as listed under
Sections 17-902 and 17-903 of the Water Protection Ordinance of the Albemarle County Code.
Should you have a legitimate reason you cannot complete your Water Protection Ordinance plans by the
above given date, you must immediately contact your erosion control inspector at (434) 296-5832.
Unless you have contacted us and alternative arrangements have been agreed to, we will expect all
compliance work to be completed by the above date.
