The Board, by a vote of 4:0 approved the request, pending staff administrative approval of the following conditions: 1. Provide a sample of the retaining wall block for review. 2. Indicate on the lighting plan that the wall packs will have a bronze finish 3. Revise the planting size of the Inkberry holly and Prague viburnum to 24" minimum. 4. Without reducing legibility of the plan, include notes on the plan to identify the easements that allow planting on the adjacent parcels. 5. Provide plants between the retaining walls and at the bottom of the lower wall to soften the appearance and break up the length. Provide natural groupings of plants rather than a continuous row. Plants species should be appropriate to transition from the pond to the more structured planting along the building. Consider use of shrubs and ornamental grasses to help soften the appearance of the wall. Please provide: 1. Two full sets of revised drawings addressing each of these conditions. Include updated ARB revision dates on each drawing. 2. A memo including detailed responses indicating how each condition has been satisfied. If changes other than those requested have been made, identify those changes in the memo also. Highlighting the changes in the drawing with "clouding" or by other means will facilitate review and approval. 3. The attached "Revised Application Submittal" form. This form must be returned with your revisions to ensure proper tracking and distribution. When staff s review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a Certificate of Appropriateness may be issued.
