To the County Engineer:
We are a gut health supplement manufacturing company. Our supplement is a purely natural soil
derived liquid that we mix and bottle in our facility. We will be getting an automated line to fill, seal,
cap, and label the product. We have two full time and two-part time employees who work in our
manufacturing space and nine employees who work in the office (customer service, sales, compliance,
engineers, etc).
We have addressed the performance standards of Zoning Ordinance Section 18-4.14.
Noise: Our operation will not create sound or impact noise levels in excess of the values specified in
Section 4.14.1. Our major sources of noise are: 1) truck deliveries and pick ups of supplies or finished
products. We have large electric motors which power pumps and electric mixers inside our
manufacturing space but the noise levels would not exceed normal levels outside. We are compliant
with section 4.18.
Vibration: Our machinery does not produce any detectable earthborn vibration.
Glare: Our operation is completely contained within the building. The interior lighting associated with
this operation does not produce glare that is visible beyond the lot line.
Air Pollution: There will be no emission of smoke, odor, or gaseous pollutants.
Water Pollution: The only liquid we put into the city sewage from our operations is gray water. Our
operation does not represent a hazard to water quality.
Radioactivity: Our operation does not require handling of radioactive materials. There will be no
radioactive emissions.
Electrical Interference: Our operation does not require any equipment that would generate electrical
disturbances that would adversely affect the operation of equipment on any other lot or premises.
Please feel free to contact us with any further questions you may have.
