This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County for
review:
PROJECT: SUB201600150 Briarwood Phase 6 (Lots 61-76)-Preliminary Subdivision Plat
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Rio
TAX MAP/PARCEL: Portion of 032G0000000100
LOCATION: At the intersection of Hummingbird Lane and Sunset Drive
PROPOSAL: Request for preliminary plat approval for 16 single family detached lots and an open
space parcel.
ZONING: Planned Residential Development(PRD)-(ZMA2004-14 and ZMA2005-09 with Proffers).
PROFFERS: YES
ENTRANCE CORRIDOR: Yes
OVERLAY DISTRICT: Steep Slopes(Managed and Preserved), Flood Hazard Overlay District(FH),
and Airport Impact Area Overlay District(AIA).
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Neighborhood Density Residential - residential (3 — 6 units/acre)
supporting uses such as religious institutions, schools and other small-scale non-residential uses.
Privately Owned Open Space; Environmental Features—privately owned recreational amenities and
open space; floodplains, steep slopes, wetlands, and other environmental features in Piney Mtn.-

This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whetlr the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee.

Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be available to help

business hours(8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri)to schedule an appointment. While an appointment is not required,
we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without appointments may find the materials are in use
by others and/or staff is not available to help. Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting,
