Attached is the approval package w/ conditions for the above referenced project. Be advised I slightly revised
the letter to include VDH's comment/condition of approval, which was not provided at SRC. I also went ahead
and reworded the alley easement language (comment#10) as discussed at SRC. No other changes to the SRC
letter took place.

I'm working on my review of the above ref project and am reviewing comments from various reviewers.
I do not see any reviews or a name entered for Engineering.
Can you tell me who is my Engineer reviewer for this project?
I assumed it was Matthew; however, he does not appear to have the plan.
This item is an SRC item which goes on Thursday, Oct 20th to SRC. Review comments are due Tuesday, 10-18-
16 to the applicant.

I am happy to provide any information I can to keep the public informed.The current status from the
engineering department perspective is that the developer was given bond estimates for their WPO,
Road and Water and Sewer bonds, but has not posted any of these bonds yet.The developer will let us
know when they are ready to post them and we will work with them to make sure they meet County
requirements/standards. Once the bonds are posted, they will need to schedule a pre-construction
meeting with our inspector before construction activities can occur.
I will let you know as soon as the developer makes a request to post any of the bonds. But until then, we
are in waiting mode.
If you have any further questions or comments at this time, don't hesitate to let me know.

I printed off your email and put it in the file to remind me of your request. Be
aware I can only do this for plans I am reviewing and/or in charge of(Subdivision
Plats and Site Plans). For plans which permit grading onsite such as WPO plans,
Road Plans, and the bonding of these improvements you'd need to work with
Frank Pohl, County Engineer to stay abreast of that information as I do not
actively track this information until it is needed for site plan and/or subdivision
plat approvals.

Currently we have a preliminary subdivision plat in our office,
SUB201600174 Rivanna Village, which covers Phases 1, 3, and 4
& includes Blocks A (11 lots), B (17 lots), C (18 lots), D (2 lots), E
(13 lots), and F (1 lot)...for a total of 62 lots. This item is on a 60
day review cycle and is headed to Site Review Committee(SRC)
on October 20th, an action (approve, approve w/conditions, or
deny) will be taken on this project 14 days after the SRC meeting.
Rivanna Village has already obtained the following approvals from
Planning:
- ZMA2013-12, Neighborhood Model District (NMD)
- SDP2015-36 Rivanna Village -phase 1,block A Villas—initial
site plan(approved w/conditions on 10-19-2015)
- SUB2015-119 Rivanna Village—Road Plan (approved 8-10-
2016)
Rivanna Village has already obtained the following approvals from
Engineering:
- WP02014-77 -phase 1 (approved 6-16-2015)
- (I will add that the grading for the entire project was approved on
an early mass grading plan approved by Glenn Brooks back in
2008 (WP02008-84), but has since been marked expired in
Countyview and all engineers who worked on this project have
since left the County, and no new submittals of WPO plans have
come in for this to be assigned to a new engineer).
