PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY, INCLUDING CONNECTION TO ANY EXISTING ROAD,
A PERMIT FOR SAID CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE OBTAINED FROM THE VIRGINIA.

2. ALL PAVING AND DRAINAGE RELATED MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION MEHODS

3. EROSION AND SILTATION CONTROL MEASURES SHALL BE PROVIDED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED EROSION CONTROL PLAN AND SHALL BE
INSTALLED PRIOR TO ANY CLEARING, GRADING OR OTHER CONS'TRUC'TION.
4. ALL SLOPES AND DISTURBED AREAS ARE TO BE FERTILIZED, SEEDED AND
MULCHED. MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE FILL OR CUT SLOPE 18 2:1. WHERE REASONABLY
OBTAINABLE LESSER SLOPES OF 4:1 OR BETTI. R ARE TO BE ACHIEVED.
5.` ALL DRAINAGE INLETS SHALL HAVE A 2 INCH LOCAL DEPRESSION UNLESS
OTHERWISE SHOWN.
6. PAVED OR RIP RAP LINED DITCH MAY BE REQUIRED WHEN IN THE OPINION OF TIME
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING, OR HIS DESIGNEES, IT IS DEEMED NFECEOSSARY IN
ORDER TO STABILIZE A DRAINAGE CHANNEL
7. ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS SHALL CONFORM WITH THE VIROINIfA MANUAL FOR
UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, LATEST EDITION.
6. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ALL CONCRETE PIPE SHALL BE REINFORCED
CONCRETE PIPE CLASS III.
9. ALL EXCAVATION FOR UNDERGROUND PIPE INSTALLATION SHALL COMPLY WTTH OSHA
STANDARDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY (29 CFR PART 1I ).
10. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ANY OR ALL DIMENSIONS, SU
CONDITIONS, FINAL GRADING AND FIELD LAYOUT ON THIS PROTECT ARID REPORT ALL
INCONSISTANCIES TO THE ENGINEER, SURVEYOR, ARCHITECT AND OR OWNER. 1-K)LILD
THE CONTRACTOR FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE HE WILL ASSUME TOTAL
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY ERRORS AND OR INCONSISTANCIFS.

WATER AND SEWER GENERAL PLAN NOTES,

2. THE LOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES ACROSS OR ALONG THE LINT OF THE

COVER MEASURED FROM THE TOP OF PIPE, OVER THE CENTERLINE OF
PIPE. THIS INCLUDES ALL FIRE HYDRANT LINES, SERVICE LATERALS
AND WATERLINES, ETC.
7. 20' WIDE EASEMENTS, CENTERED ON THE PIPELINE AND APPURTENANCES
SHALL BE DEDICATED TO THE ALBEMARLE COUNTY SERVICE AUTHORITY,
EXCEPT WHERE THE LINE IS IN A PUBLIC ROAD RIGHT OF WAY OR AN
ACCESS EASEMENT, IN WHICH CASE THE ACCESS EASEMENT SHALL ALSO
BE DEDICATED AS A UTIUTY EASEMENT.
13. T MIN. SEPARATION REQUIRED BETWEEN WATERLINE AND STORM. SEWER
CULVERTS OR 6" SEPARATION WHEN WATERLINE IS INSULATED. USE
112" THICK THERMA CEL PIPE INSULATION IN TX 4' ;SHEETS AS
MANUFACTURED BY NOMACA, INC. OR EQUAL APPROVED BY ALBEMARLE
COUNTY SERVICE AUTHORITY. INSULATION TO EXTEND 5' BEYOND

9. TOUCH READ METERS ARE BEING USED BY THE ALBEMARLE COUNTY
SERVICE AUTHORITY. TO ACCOMODATE THESE METERS, METER LIDS
WILL REQUIRE A 1 3f4" HOLE TAPPED INTO THE CENTER OF THE LID.
BLIND TAPS OR PLUGS SHALL BE PROVIDED TO PREVENT DERMS FROM
ENTERING THE BOX PRIOR TO METER INSTALLATION.
10. ALL WATER AND SEWER APPURTENANCE'S ARF TO BE LOCATED OUTSIDE OF

11. CERTIFICATION THAT 95 PER CENT COMPACTION IS OBTAINED SHALL BE
