The following revisions are requested to make the proposal consistent with the Entrance Corridor Sign Guidelines. The sign plan must include all of the information required. Include all of the information you have previously submitted and the additional information requested in this letter. The sign plan must include: 1. The type of sign proposed. Specify on the sign plan that this is a "Cabinet Sign". Rev. 1: Comment Addressed. Clarify and specify the Colors of the sign. White, blue and red are specified under the "Material Finish Colors:". However, black is specified under ".150" Polycarbonate Pan Face" where it says "Paint 2" `` Surface, Black Spray Plus". White and black count as colors, and guideline 4.e. specifies the "The use of three colors or fewer is more appropriate for signs in the Entrance Corridor". Rev. 1: Comment Addressed. 3. The background colors must be opaque. The guideline 5.b. states "If cabinet signs are utilized, the backgrounds of such signs must be made opaque (zero light transmission)". Specify on the sign plan that any and all background colors on the sign are opaque. Rev. 1: Comment not fully addressed. Add the following note to the sign plan "The background shall be opaque. Only the text and graphic shall be illuminated." 4. The height of the text. Specify and/or dimension the height for the text on the sign. Rev. 1: Comment Addressed. 5. The date of the first submission and the revision dates. Specify the revision date of the resubmission once these modifications have been made and the sign plan is ready for resubmittal. Rev. 1: Comment must be addressed again. Revise the "Permit Submission Current:" date to be for the most recent submission. 6. Also, submit the appropriate application fee. There is no Comprehensive Sign Plan (CSP) for this building. Comprehensive Sign Plans are only created for multi -tenant buildings. Therefore, on the Application and Checklist for Sign Permit, the wrong check box was checked for "ARB review" and the required fee was not paid. The first of the check boxes applied to this sign and the fee required is $129. Submit the fee. The fee must be received before the sign can be given ARB review approval. Rev. 1: Comment not addressed. The required fee has not vet been paid. Certificate of Appropriateness for this sign will not be granted until the fee for the review has been paid. Please respond by email within 15 days of the date of this letter indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions. Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60 -day review period associated with your original submittal. If you choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me.
