STAFF CONTACT(S): Cilimberg, Benish, Grant : NO AGENDA DATE: November 13, 2013 ACTION: X INFORMATION: CONSENT AGENDA: ACTION: INFORMATION: ATTACHMENTS: YES BACKGROUND: On August 20, 2013, the Planning Commission held a public hearing for the 1306 Crozet Ave. rezoning request. The Commission, by a vote of 5:0, recommended approval of ZMA201300003 with revised proffers as recommended by staff and described in the staff report, including the addition of an affordable housing proffer. DISCUSSION: The proffers have been revised as recommended by the Planning Commission, inclusive of an additional affordable housing proffer. (Attachment 1) In addition, Proffer 2 has been further revised so that the two existing rental units can remain until prior to the approval by the County of the final subdivision plat or site plan creating the lot on which the second new dwelling unit will be constructed (Lot 2), at which time one of the existing rental units will be converted to an accessory structure. This revision will assure that the number of dwelling units will not exceed four units on the site at any time. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff finds that the proffers reflect the Planning Commission expectations and recommend approval of ZMA201300003 with the attached, revised proffers dated October 25, 2013.
