Flow Test Results: Date/Time Performed:August 11th 2015 Fire Hydrant Flow Test Effective Point:At the base of the pressure hydrant (Hydrant#10546) Static=68 psi; Residual=62 psi @ 1744 gpm Available Flow @ 20 psi (Node 5)=4880 gpm Static Pressure @ BOR:57 psi Available Pressure @ 295 gpm at the BOR = 57 psi Available Pressure @ 730 gpm at the BOR = 54 psi 10%Safety Factor=-7 psi Test Elevation relative to BOR: Even with proposed planned finished floor elevation (488 Ft.AMSL) A fire pump WILL NOT be required. Backflow Prevention Requirements: Double Check Detector Assembly(DCDA) Device assumed for deduct in calculations: A 6-inch, Ames 3000SS, double check detector assembly backflow preventer. This needs to be approved by the Civil Engineer.This is for recommendation only and NOT to be used for construction or exact main locations.
