We can definitely reapprove the plat once you correct the ownership information. I believe you are correct that they would need to record the merger docs in the Clerk's Office. A note on the plat recognizing the merger into a new entity, Jefferson Realty Partners LLC, is not adequate to accomplish this. To obtain a definitive answer to your question I believe you work need to work with the County Assessor's office or Real Estate as how to legally document new ownership of the property when a merger occurs forming a new LLC, essentially changing ownership hands. Cc: 'Ellie Ray' Subject: FW: LOR for Federal Express & Retail Office Building (SDP2015-34) Justin, I received your voicemail about the Fed Express LOR and the related Easement plat. I've been checking in on RWSA and ACSA review over the course of the review period(see below). RWSA&ACSA have requested I hold approval of the LOR till the easement plat is resolved. As relayed to me by RWSA in the email below -currently the easement plat and the agreements associated with this are in the hands of their attorneys. The substantive review is in the hands of RWSA and ACSA. Granted, I am running late on my review of that easement plat but all of my comments will solely be about required notes associated with the easement plat checklist/the subdivision ordinance. I hope to have any of my minor note changes for the plat to you next week. Otherwise, it is still pending RWSA&ACSA approval. Hope this helps.
