This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County for
review:
SUB201500066 Wayland's Ridge— Preliminary Subdivision Plat
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: White Hall
TAX MAP/PARCEL: 05600-00-00-03600, 05600-00-00-036A0
LOCATION: Crozet Ave and Jarman Ridge, approximately 1600 feet from intersection of Crozet Ave
and Route 250.
PROPOSAL: Request for preliminary plat approval to create 24 single family detached lots and an
open space parcel on 19.5 acres for a density of 1.261 units/acre. The application is utilizing density
bonus factors for provision of significant landscaping in the form of street trees, dedication of land to
public use not otherwise required by law, and for serving the development with an internal street.
ZONING: R-1 Residential - 1 units/acre.
ENTRANCE CORRIDOR: YES
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Crozet-Neighborhood Density Residential—residential(3—6 units/acre)
supporting uses such as religious institutions, schools and other small-scale non-residential uses;
Greenspace—public parks, open space, environmental features.
This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee.

Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be available to help
with any questions, we encourage you to schedule a viewing time. Please call 296-5832 ext 3004 during
business hours(8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri)to schedule an appointment. While an appointment is not required,
we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without appointments may find the materials are in use
by others and/or staff is not available to help. Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting,
please notify the Department of Community Development so that any concerns may be adequately addressee.
