C236 on the site plan as depicted on your submittal. This is your 1st letter of revision for this site. Please
note that a total of three Letters of Revision are allowed before all changes to the site plan are required to

This is an Application for Letter of Revision to change the building footprint of a duplex
renovation at the Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge retirement community. This
is to further amend Job Number 97-018-23 Westminster Canterbury Park and Open
Space Plan, and Job Number 97-018-31, Duplex Cottage Replacement Minor
Amendment.
We are asking for approval to add to the side of the existing footprint by 8 feet as shown
on the accompanying plans. This was not drawn on the approved amended site plan
but text does say the plan was to "add approximately 700 square feet to each side of
nine existing duplexes." The addition footprints were not drawn exactly as floor plans
did not exist at the time.
A minimum building separation of 18 feet shall continue to be maintained. Additions
have no required setback from the property line because adjacent use is commercial
and this is at the center of a large parcel. Site Plan as amended still meets all
regulations in Section 18-4.11.3 Reduction of Building Separation and Side Yards.
We request that this review be expedited as much as possible as there are residents
eager to move in as soon as construction is complete!
