Present: Messrs. Stuart. F. Carwile~ Gerald'E. Fisher, J~ T. Henley~ Jr.~
William C. Thacker, Jr.~ Gordon L. Wheeler and LlOyd F. Weod~ Jr.
Absent: None.
Officers Present: Connty Executive and~ County Attorney.
SP-I~O. Lorenza Fields. To locate a permanent, mobile home on 1.$ acres
~zoned A-1 Agriculture. ~Property is located on Route 7~$ near Interstate 6~ in
the Keswick area. Property i~ ~eseribed as .Couuty .Tax. Map 80,. Parc.el.26, o' Ma
RiVanna Magisterial District. (Action on this matter had been deferred fr m. Y 2 )
~. Humphrey Stated .tha~'~the Planning Staff and the Planning Commission recommended
approval with Health Department approval of a septic system. He also stated that
the mobile home is located some 12[ feet from the road right-of-way. Mr. Fields
was present in support ef the petition. Ne one appeared in epposition.~Mr. Wood
made motion to approve as per recommendations of Planning Staff and Planning Commission
with Health ~epartment approval efa septic tank and drain field. Motion was
seconded by Mr. Carwile and carried by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Messrs. Carwile, Fisher, Henley, Thacker~ Wheeler and Weed.
NAYS: None.
SP-172. W. G. Seablom. To locate a permanent mobile home on land zoned
Agruculture containing 6.18 acres. Property is located on Route 666 near
Earlysville. Property is describqd as County Tax Ma~ 18, Parcel lOB (part thereof)
White Hall Magisterial District. (Action on this matter had been deferred from May ~$).
Mr. Humphrey stated that the property is located off ef Route 666 a~pr~ximately
1.8 miles from its intersection with Route 665 West of Earlysville, Virginia.
Heavy weeds exist in all directions with large open fields to the ~ast ef this
area. Two dwellings exist in the immediate area. One 200 feet to the northwest
and the other 300 yds. to the north. One large farm exists 3/$ mile to the east.
M~. Humphrey also stated that this mobile home is alrea~yplaced en the preperty~
have
thereY~no facilities for water~ sewerageor electricity hooked to the mobile
home at this time. The adjoining property owners were notified and no one raised
an .objection. The Planning Staff and the Planning Commission recommend approval
with Health Department approval of a septic system and a 30 feet set back from
the road right of way. Mr. E~nley made motion te approve this petition with
conditions as reeLammendat~d~y the Planning Staff and Planning Commission. Motion
was seconded by Mr. Wood and passed by the following recorded ~ote:
AYES: Messrs. Carwile, Fisher, Henley~ Thacker~ Wheeler and Wood.
NAYS: None.
Mr. Carwile stated that he fSIt some consideration should be given te setting
up some type of group to study the situation with respect to mobile homes in the
County so that the Beard wauld have definite guide lines to follow in approving
mobile home permits. Ne ~ction was taken on the suggestion at this meeting.

The Chairman then. asked~for a motion to adjourn'into executive session
so that the Beard could discuss personnel and p-ersonnel salaries. Motion was
made by Mr. Henley~ seconded by Mr. Thacker and carried by the following
recorded vote:
AYES: Messrs. Carwile~ Fisher~ Henley~ Thacker and Wheeler .and Weed,
NAYS: None,
The Beard reconvened at 11:00 P.M,
