MOVAL OF SNOW, SLEET, OR ICE FROM SUCH HIGHWAYS BY THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT
OF HIGHWAYS.
ANY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER OF ALBEMARLE COUNTY SHALL HAVE THE AUTHORITY
TO REMOVE, OR CAUSE TO HAVE REMOVED AND STORE OR CAUSE TO HAVE STORED,
VEHICLES THAT ARE STALLED, STUCK, PARKED, OR ABANDONED ON SUCH DESIGNATED
HIGHWAYS.
SECTION 5. ANY PERSON VIOLATING ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE GUILTY
OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON CONVICTION THEREOF SHALL BE PUNISHED BY A FINE NOT
TO EXCEED TWENTY-FIvE 9OLLARS ($25.00) FOR EACH SUCH OFFENSE.
SECTION 6. IN EVEN~ ANY SECTION, CLAUSE, OR REQUIREMENT OF THIS ORDINANCE BE PROVE~
INVALID, SUCH INVALIDATION SHALL NOT EFFECT THE REMAINDER OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED THAT THE COUNTY COURT OF THIS COUNTY BE FURNISHED WITH A
CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND THAT COMPLAINTS FOR THE OFFENSES HEREINABOVE SET
FORTH BE PROSECUTED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND THAT ALL FINES IMPOSED UNDER THIS
