Messrs. C. Purcell M¢Cue, E. J. Ballard, He~ry Chiles, J. W. Williams and ~. W. Wood. Absent - Mr. C. R. Dottier. We, the undersigned, members of the Board of County Supervisors of AlBemarle County, V.irginia, hereby waive notice, and special service, thereof, of a meeting to be held at 10:00 A.M. on the 6th day of September, 1951, in the city Hall, Ch~rlottesvi!le, Virginia Jointly With the CharlotteSville City Cotmcil for the purpose of discussing the matter of the proposod airport and the matter of the City'of Waynesboro's parti- cipation in the District Home, and we do hereby consent to the transaction of any and all business and the taking of such action, at said'meeting upon the matters hereinabove mentioned as may be lawful, incident, ~and necessary thereto. Wood After a full joint discussion with the Council of the City of Charlottesville, the two bodies separated to consider i~dividually formal action amd as a result, -on motion of Mr. Henry Chiles, seconded by Mr. W. W. Wood, the folloving resolution was unanimously adopted.' BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, that this Board is prepared to appropriate up to $200,000.00 for the establishment of an airport Jointly with the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, provided that Special- ties, Inc. within sixty days, ~furnishes proof satisfactory to this Board that it is prepared to proceed with the construction of it~ plant contiguous to the airport site, and provided further that the airport project has the appr. oval and sanction of the C.A.A. with respect to eligibility for matching fund. The two bodies jointly, after a discussion of the City of Waymesboro's participation in the District Home, reqffirmed its previous p~s~ion and instructed the City Attorney and the Commonwealth's Attorney to proceed at law to determine the City of Way~esbero's right for participation in the District Home at Waynesboro. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. Cha~
