Pursuant to the following waiver, the members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia met in special session on this date with the following members present: Messrs. C. Purcell McCue, E. J. Ballard, C. R. Dorrier, J. W. Williams and 4. ~. Wood. Absent: Mr. Henry Chiles. Mr. Leslie H. Walton, Asst. Supt. of Schools, and Mr. J. T. Henley and Mr. E. J. Oglesby of the School Board Mere also present. We, the -~ndersigned, members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle Co~mty, Virginia, hereby waive n~tice, and special service thereof, of a meeting to be held at 7:30 P.M. on the 27th day of September, 1951, in the County Office Building, Char- lottesville, Virginia for the purpose of discussing plans for the repair shop and stores building, for the purpose of discussing Soil Conservation Week, and for the purpose of discussing the pipe line to the Central High School, and we do hereby con- sent to the transaction of any and all business and the taking of such action at said meeting upon the matters hereinabove mentioned as may be lawful, incident, and neces- sary thereto. However, upon motion, ~de by ~. Willies and seconded by ~. ~ood, it was reoom- me~ed that the repair ~hop buildi~ be constructed to include space for general stores. Upon motion~ made by ~. Wood and seconded ~ ~. Ballard, it was ordered that ~. D. A. Robinson and Walton su~t pla~ for such a bHildi~ at the ne~ re~lar mmeti~ of ~his Board. ~. George Oarr a~ared and req~s~d the Board to designate t~ Meek of Ooto~r 2i-27~ 195!~ as Soil Oonservation Week in ~bemarle Oounty~ which request w~s complied with. ~. D. B. Marshall advised the Board that he and ~. Clark were have diffic~ty in obtai~ easements for water pi~ line to serve the Central High School due to the fact that ma~ of the proper~y o~ers who had been contacted were not willing %o give %he 0oun%y easements free of charge. Upon motio~ made ~ ~. Jood and seconded ~ ~. Williams, ~. Clark was authorized to ~ite into the req~red la~ the fact that the Co~ty ~11 ~ res~nsible for repairi~ all damages caused by the layi~ of the pipe line a~ ~.
