An adjourned meeting of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, was~
held at 4:30 P.N. in the Board Room of the County Office Building, Charlottesville, Virginia on
September 17, 1952, with the following members present: Nessrs. C. Purcell NcCue, E. H. Bain, H. Ashby
Harris, Edward L. Smith, J. W. Williams and W. W. Wood.
Mr. D. A. Robinson was called upsn to'explain what appeared to be an unauthorized increase in
the salary of Mr. W. S. Werkheiser~ a Couuty employee. This matter was investigated and discussed at
l~ngthby the Board.~
Upon motion, made byMr. Wood, seconded bY Nr. Bain, the matter was dismissed.
Upon motion, made by Mr. Wood and seconded by Nr. Williams, the meeting adjourned until 7:00
P.M., September 26, 1952~
