Pursuant to the following waiver, the members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle
Co~uty, Virginia, met in special session on this date in the County Office Building with the following
members present: Nessrs. C. Purcell NcCue, Eo H. Bain, H. Ashby Harris, John W. Williams, and We Wo
Nood~ Absent: Nro Edward Lo Smith.
Net the undersigned~ members of the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County,
Virginia, hereby waive notice, and special service thereof, of a meeting to be held
on the ninth day of February, 195~, in the County Office Building, Charlottesville,
Virginia for the purpose of considering and acting upon matters pertaining to securities
held in Escrow by the National Bao~ and Trust Company, and we do hereby consent to the
transaction of any and all business and the taking of such action at said meeting upon
the matter hereinabove mentioned as may be lawful, incident, and necessary thereto e

Communication was received from the National Bank and Trust Company, Charlottesville, Virgini
requesting substitution of certain securities. Upon motion, duly made and seconded, the following
resolution was unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS, the National Bank and Trust Company, Depository, has requested
that substitutions be made in the collateral held ~by the State Planters Bank and
~rust Company, Richmond, Virginia, Escrow Bank,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Albemarle
County, Virginia, that the National Bank and Trust Company be and is hereby autho-
rized to pledge the following:
$100,000.00 U.S. Treas. Bonds, 2~% du~9/15/56/59.
And, upon the pledge and delivery of the above securities to the Sta~e~:.Pla~eh~s~B~nk
and Trust Company, Escrow Bank, the State Planters Bank and Trust Company is hereby
~uthorized to release the followLng:
$100,000.00 U.S. Treas. Bonds, 2% due 6/15/54/52.
BE iT F~RTHER RESOLVED that copies of th~s resolution be submitted to the
National Bank and Trust Company and to the State Planters Bank and Trust Company.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned.
