County, Virginia, held at the Court House of said County on the. 4th day of Nov.
1932. Present: J.~..Fray, Chairman, C.Purcell McCue, E.J.Ballard, P.H. Gentry
and J.A. 0lNeill.
In the matter of assessment of ~-irginia Public Service Corpora.tion
by the Corporation Commissioner of Virginia.
A representative 'Of the Corporation CommisSion appeared before
the Board and 'stated that the Virginia Public Service Corporation was willing to
be assessed with an additional $~5,000.00 assessment and the Board after a
thorough discussion of the matter was of the opinion that it was to the host int~erest
of the county to accept the offer,~t~h~efore on motion of C.Purcell NcCue and
seconded by P.H.Gentry it is unanimously ordered that the Board accept the
$'25,000°00 supplemental assessment and that it be_ divided among the serveral
districts as follows: Charlottesville District $19,000.00 and the other five
districts $1~00.00 each.

At a Regular Meetio~ of the Board of Supervisors of Al]~emar!le
County, Virginia, held at the Court House of said county on the 18th day of
November 1932.
Present: ~.M.Fray, Chairman, ¢.Purcell McCue, E.~.Ballard,
P.H.Gentry and J.A.O~Neill.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
On motion of C.Purcell NcCue s_ud seconded by J'.A.O'Neill
it is unanimously ordered that when supervisors abe appointed on committees to
look after county affairs that they be paid for their services at the same
per diem as is now allowed Supervisors by law.
In the matter of the uounty~s claim against G.N.Ward for rent.
'The Board after a through disCUssion of the matter and with the
evidenced produced is of the opinion that Mr. Ward has sortied in full by labor
and money the County's Claim, therefore on motion of C.Purcell NcCue and seconded
by ~.A.O~Neill it is unanimously ordered that the Attorney for the Commonwealth'
drop all further proceedings against Nr. G.N.Ward for rent,
RESOLVED: that it is the sense of this Board that all common
labor to be employed on secondary roads in the county of Albemarle and to be paid
for out of monies derived through the c.ounty, s Secondary Road Funds and through
funds from Reconstruction Finance Corporation, shall be paid at the rate of
fifteen cents ($0.15) per hour;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds derived from or
through the ~econstruction Finance Corporation, and to be expended in Albemarle
