Subsequent to the above action by t.."f¡e Planning Commission the Boardõf
Supervisors saw :!'it to change the Zoning of this sitè to R"l ResidentiaL
InadditioIl changes were made to Route US 250 to· handle school traffic.
This resulted in adverse reconunèndation from the. Highway Department
concerning the entrance location. Since these two actions preclude us
from completing the project, we hereby apply for rezoning of the property
from R-l Residential to R-6 Residential (Proffer). we proffer the fOllowing
conditions:

2. We are the ownerS of the above-referencéd proper,;y. At its meeting of
June 27, 1981 the Albemarle Planning Commission gave conditional approval
to site plan for the construction of sixty (60) apartments. For various

reasons we were unable to start construction. Ne are now in a position
to continue with our plans for this site.
"1. On 25 August 1981 the Planning Commission held a public hearing and
recommended disapproval of our request for rezoning of the referenced
parcel. The reason stated for disapproval was failure to relocate t..""e
entrance on US 250 in accordance with Virginia Department of Highways
and Transportati.on recommendation. Accordingly we hereby amend our
"profferu as noted in paragraph 3 below.
The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors at its meeting of October 7, 1981,
approved the above-referenced rezoning petition with the amended PROFFER
dated August 26, 1981, which follows:
