The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on
October 3, 1984, approved the request to rezone 58.91 acres from
R-l to R-4 with proffer, Tax Map 60, Parcel 24 (part). The proffer
as approved is.' attached and the wording, for proffer #6, as agreed
to by the applicant's representative, William Roudabush, at the
Board'of Supervisors meeting, is set out below. (Note: The
original proffer was not submitted to the BOard of Supervisors
office) .

Tax Map 60, attached hereto, We offer the following proffers for your
consideration as part of our application:'
1) The maximum overall density of the 58.91 acre tract will not
exceed 3 dwelling units per ac~eor a total of 176 dwelling units.
2) Only single family detached dwellings will be located within 200
feet of the boundary of other parcels not owned or optioned by
HEC Incorporated as shown on the attached drawi ng.

A meet:ing was held On Wednesday evening, September 5th, with the
residents of Canterbury Hill to discuss the Faulconer family's rezoning
of the 58 acre parcel adjacent to that·, residential area. The meeting
was well attended and their primary concern was that Smithfield Road not
be extended as an acceSs or egress point to our property~
