This project will provide better access to our building and significantly improve the presentation and impression of the building as it is seen from the road and entering the parking lot. In addition, we will be removing some damaged un unnecessary side walk, one set of concrete stairs, and a very old handicap ramp which was not built to code elevations. We will be replacing this ramp with a handicap access that has proper elevations. Instead of having one set of stairs giving access to the main level of the building, we plan to have two. I understand that the entrance corridor is all about impression and presentation. This porch addition will transform the presentation of our building significantly. Currently, our building is plain brick with unadorned windows. Currently, the main entrance is to the side of the building and unseen to the approach. The design of this porch will change the visual orientation of the building and make it more welcoming. As the area around our property continues to be developed with new homes, we strongly feel that it would be appropriate to improve and modernize the presentation of our building to better reflect the community it is nestled in the midst of.
