VDOT only had one/two small comments (attached), to which the applicant responded below: " VDOT: We have added "Hereby Dedicated to Public Use" to the New Sight Distance Easement. Please note that the additional wording for the conditions of the easement shall be included in the deed." Will this suffice? Or do you need such notes on the plat? Please review. Review#2 Dear Mr. Perez: The Department of Transportation,Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use Section has reviewed the Better Living Berkmar- Easement Plat(1), dated April 17,2017 as submitted by Roger W. Ray& Associate Inc., and find it to be acceptable on condition that the plat must be signed and recorded by appropriate parties prior to approval of the associated site plan. A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The owner/developer must contact the VDOT Charlottesville Residency Land Use Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
