RE: ZMA-90-26 University Real Estate Foundation
Dear Mr. Westby:
The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting on
February 6, 1991, approved the above-noted request to rezone 4It
1.28 acres from CO, Commercial Office and LI, Light ~.~
Industrial to C-1, Commercial (Proffered to restrict use to
~edical center). Please note that this approval is subject
to the following proffer:
As part of our request for rezoning, as outlined above~
we wou1d,agree to eliminate all uses under zone C-1
except for 22.2.1.B.21, Medical Center, and to
construct the building and the site development in
accordance with the already submitted documents.
Additionally, we would close the existing entrance to
the property and have the new entrance to be
constructed serve the entire property.
If you should have any questions or comments regarding the
above noted action, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dear Mr. Tarbell:
I am writing in response to your letter of December 17, 1990
regarding our proposed proffers under the rezoning application
identified as ZMA-90-24 UREF. As part of our request for rezoning,
we would agree to eliminate all uses under zone C1 except for
22.2.1.B.21, Medical Center, and to construct the building and the
site development in accordance with the documents already
submitted.
Additionally, we would close the existing entrance to the
property and have the new entrance to be constructed serve the
entire property.
Finally, the proffer regarding the entrance does involve
parcels 23D and 23F and the current owner is the University of
Virginia Real Estate Foundation as is the case for the parcel for
which the rezoning is requested. As such, my signature below
indicates the concurrence of the owner of those parcels with
respect to the rezoning application and change in the access road.
The current plats of record, which were requested in your letter .
of December 17, 1990, will be delivered to you under separate cover
by a representative of steven L. Key, Inc.
I would be pleased to provide any additional information that
might be helpful.
